October Half Term.

October Half term is here and we have something for everyone!
We have a gallery game planned to keep children of all ages entertained called "Rats and Bats". We have several drop in sessions in the morning from 10am-12 noon that includes Badge Making and Paper Puppets (£1.00 charge per item). Please click on the link below for further information.
On Saturday 16th October from 10am-2pm the Finds Liaison Officer for Rutland and Leicestershire will be here to help identify archaeological items that you have found. Drop in event, no need to book.
On Thursday 21st October the Friends of Charnwood Museum are hosing a friends talk on zoom from 7.30pm-8.30pm about the History and Identity of Fish and Chips in Britain by Professor Panikos Panayi. £4.00 for non-members. Our exhibition is the 'Market 800' and looks at how Loughborough's Markets have developed from the Medieval era right up to current traders.
Our opening hours for half term, Tuesday 19th to Saturday 23rd October are 10am - 3pm. There is no need to book, just turn up!
