The Leicestershire and Rutland Heritage Forum awards were held last week – virtually of course! – and Charnwood Museum were winners!

They were awarded a Highly Commended award in the 'Best Project under £750' category for our Museum From Home project during the first national lockdown.

The Museum From Home project saw the front of house team here at the Museum create online activities from scratch in less than a week from the Museum closing its doors. Staff not only created quizzes, games and craft activities that you could do from the comfort of your home but had a go at creating a museum too!
