It is 300 years since the birth of Robert Bakewell this May So please join Janet Spavold, a retired university lecturer and author, for her illustrated talk discussing a number of aspects of Bakewell's life and work here at Dishley Grange Farm, Loughborough. The talk draws upon Bakewell's extensive correspondence to tell the story of his family, travels, innovative farming methods and life as a Unitarian.

Mugs and books are for sale on the night.

Doors will be open from 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start, please use the evening entrance on Granby Street.

Cost: Members £3. Non-members £5
